Steve Forbes in Fort Smith

Back in Fort Smith for the second time in as many months! This time we were helping out our friends at the Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce to host editor in chief of Forbes Media, the man himself, Mr. Steve Forbes! All AV provided screens, projectors, audio and video switchers / mixers, and wireless microphones. A special thanks to the staff at the Fort Smith Convention Center for all their help!

Arkansas Aerospace Summit

This year started off on a very interesting note. We were invited to provide audio/video/tech support to the Arkansas Aerospace Summit. The event was held at the Fort Smith Convention Center; we have done numerous events in the convention center in the past primarily in the smaller breakout rooms; this was the first time we had done anything in the main halls and wow, what a great facility. In attendance were numerous luminaries of the aerospace community including: Steve Hendricksonwith The Boeing Company, General Ben Robinson, and our very own Gov. Mike Beebe who is pictured below addressing the crowd. The main thrust of the event was uniting the aerospace industry with education to ensure a bright future for both fields. It was a two day event full of very interesting speakers who were genuinely passionate about their fields and we at All AV were glad to be a part of bringing that passion to the educators in attendance.

For this event All AV provided about ten wired / wireless microphones, audio and video switchers/mixers, two flown screens and two flown projectors, as well as a pair of smaller complete A/V systems for breakout rooms.

Here is a little bonus picture of the A-10 “Warthog” taken at one of the receptions for VIPs hosted by Fort Smith’s 188th Fighter Wing.

University of Arkansas Lady Back Gymnastics

A highlight of our year beginning is setting up for the Razorback gymnastics team. It is typically the largest size screen we set up over the year and one of the brightest projectors we get to play with! Good luck to the Lady Razorbacks

Saint Bernard Church

Church installs can sometimes be a real challenge. Let’s face it, when these buildings were built no one expected to have a projector dangling from the ceiling, or an electric screen dropping down in front of the baptistery; don’t even get me started on routing power or cabling. One thing that has made our lives easier as installers is the increased availability of short throw projectors in the marketplace. These are flowing into the system thanks to schools looking to integrate smart technology in classrooms, but we have had a great amount of success dropping these into churches. Below is an installation at Saint Bernard’s Catholic Church in Bella Vista, AR. They are very happy with the look of the install and ease of use, and we were happy to work with them.

Wal-Mart Transportation and Logistics Christmas Party

Happy to be working with Vance again this year on Wal-Mart‘s transportation and logistics team. They are very creative group and the show is a multimedia fest for the eyes! Two days chock full of holiday cheer for yours truly!

Hooters LCD upgrade

All AV was tapped to assist Hooters of Fayetteville with pulling out seven go their old CRT dinosaur monitors and replacing with sleek and beautiful new ultra slim plasmas. We also added three more monitors the patio for total of six. So make sure you go by Hooters and check out All AV’s handiwork and have some wings while you are there!

Checking in from the road in my first mobile post! Doing a live event from the Fort Smith Holiday Inn ballroom at a gig for the Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce. Two 9×12 screens, a brace of projectors and a JBL sound system. Gonna be a good show.
